NOTICE - Patterns may not be duplicated with or without modification and used for any other purposes than explicitly described below in the licensed terms of use. The copyright notice may not legally be removed from the pattern regardless of whether or not patterns are otherwise modified.
LICENSEE - The licensee shall be a SINGLE INDIVIDUAL purchaser or their agent who is an actual person and not a corporate, business or organizational identity which would be comprised of multiple users beyond those necessary to operate the limit of 3 robotic machines.
QUILTING ROBOTS - Shall be defined as any combination IntelliQuilter, Statler Stitcher, Compuquilter, or other commonly known quilting robots intended for mid-arm/longarm quilting machines.
LICENSED TERMS OF USE - Patterns may be used to quilt an unlimited number of personal objects or to quilt for others in a cottage industry style business which does custom quilting by licensee or their agents (employees) ONLY. However, in no way may licensee advertise that the Patterns are "theirs". Licensee may use the patterns to operate up to three (3) QUILTING ROBOTS which must all be owned by the licensee and be located on a single property. It is permitted for an employee of licensee to run the the licensee's robotic machines. If used in quilts or quilted items for resale, display and/or contest purposes, a credit for the quilting design must be given to PIECE AND JOY QUILTING or SHANNON M. HICKS on the documentation (not necessarily the label) displayed with the quilt or quilted item and in documentation supplied to the organizers/sponsors of the display and/or to the purchaser.
If the licensee rents out time on their robotic machine, renter is responsible for purchasing patterns for their personal use. Renter is a separate entity and not covered under the licensee agreement.
If licensee wishes to enter into the manufacture of goods using the enclosed patterns, they should consult with Piece and Joy Quilting regarding a commercial license. Licensee may use images of the patterns on their website or in other advertising material provided that credit for the designs are clearly given, to Shannon M. Hicks and Piece and Joy Quilting.com Licensee may not display the images any larger than they are displayed on pieceandjoyquilting.com. Please use the GIFS and JPGS as provided on the website, or that are enclosed with the pattern.
In the event the licensee sells their quilting robot, quilting designs must be removed from said robot if the licensee intends to replace it with another robot and install said designs on the new robot.
TRANSFER OF LICENSE - No transfer of license is possible unless the original licensee is deceased, or signs an affidavit comfirming that they longer have any equipment that would allow them to use the patterns in question, and that they have/will not be purchasing any equipment that will allow them to use the patterns in the foreseeable future. Please contact me as soon as possible after the sale so that my records will correctly reflect this change.
CANCELLATION OF ORDER - RETURNS/EXCHANGES - Please be sure of your order before ordering. Orders may not be cancelled once they have been downloaded. Should you encounter incompatibility issues or other problems with designs ordered from pieceandjoyquilting.com please send me an email at creativeone@wildblue.net I will make every effort to provide you with a working design for your computerized system. Due to the nature of this product, no refunds will be given, but I will work with you to provide you with a workable solution as quickly as possible.
